At least, that’s what the tabloids want you to think. But Perry, 27, took to Twitter yesterday to dispel some of the rumors that have been swirling about her – namely that she’s pregnant AND that she and husband Russell Brand , 36, are getting a divorce.
Katy had previously addressed the rumors that she was pregnant, blaming her belly bump on good old-fashioned fast food. “I like In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell and if you want to make that pregnant that’s your problem,” she told The Insider .
And those tabloid stories about her marriage being on the rocks? Also not true. “First I’m pregnant then I’m divorced. What am I All My Children ?! #ericakane #pshhh #ifihadadollarforeverytime,” Perry joked on Twitter .
In fact, Katy and Russell’s marriage is so strong that they decided to celebrate their love with a trip to a tattoo parlor! After one of Katy’s recent concert in L.A., the couple visited legendary tattoo artist Bang Bang to get some ink. Katy got a smiling peppermint on her ankle, while Russell got the badge of his favorite soccer team, West Ham United, on his arm (via TMZ ).
Earlier Wednesday night, Perry helped announce the Grammy nominations during a live concert in Los Angeles. She snagged two nominations, one for Record of the Year (for her hit song “Firework”) and one for Best Pop Vocal Performance.
